Catherine is originally from France (Le Mans) and studied European Business and Logistics in Paris and Scotland. She recently completed a MSc In Supply Chain Management with TU Dublin. Having moved to Ireland in 1995, she is now firmly established in Galway and works as a Senior Business Process Analyst.

She is also the French Honorary Consul for Connacht and Donegal and represents the French Embassy in those regions helping to promote and strengthen Franco-Irish connections. She has been fully immersed in and involved with local commercial and community interests since the appointment.

Catherine is a strong advocate for supporting and promoting local initiatives with a French ‘je ne sais quoi’ and also has keen interests in music (especially Bach and Debussy), arts and world travel. Catherine is an avid Connacht rugby supporter.
